AWARD WINNER - emuse application developed for Foxtel's "Australia's Next Top Model" wins award.
March 2010 - The emuse play-along application developed for Foxtel has beaten off tough competition to win the award for "Best Use of Interactive" at the recent technology awards, as part of the ASTRA conference.

ASTRA (Australian Subscription Television & Radio Association) is the influential body that promotes subscription TV in Australia.

The winning 'Play Along' application was developed by emuse to enhance the recent popular series of Australia's Next Top Model, enabling viewers to play-along with the show during broadcast and enhancing their viewing experience with a series of Questions and Votes timed to appear around the show content.

The application was managed by Foxtel's production team using the innovative emuse Content Management System. The service provided several sponsorship opportunities and enabled the broadcaster, in this case Fox8 to generate additional revenue from the show. Immediately after the show the results and opinions from 'Game On' were available on the ANTM web and 3G mobile sites.

"We are delighted the 'Play Along' application has been recognised by ASTRA" says Dominic Laval at emuse. "Foxtel have a clear commitment to producing quality interactive content and as a result when working with them we always have the opportunity to develop innovative applications. This award illustrates that emuse continues to enable leading interactive content and cross-platform advertising" he concluded.
