Kara Hanahoe started her career with the BBC in London working on many high profile shows on both radio (GLR) and television. In 1990 she was asked to return to Dublin as a producer and host for Irelands first national independent radio station, where she secured a substantial market share. By this stage Kara had an established track record and so worked as a freelance promoter, broadcaster and producer. She was involved with several of the most successful shows and venues throughout the 1990s working with RTE, TV3, and 98FM. In 1998, aware of the changes happening in the television arena and excited about the opportunities that those changes would bring, Kara joined emuse to secure her place at the forefront of that emerging new industry.
